GYROKINESIS® 4-Week January Class Series

Wednesdays 10:30–11:30am with Rebecca Halls, DOMP

Wednesdays 5:30–6:30pm with Rachel Bood

This 4-week Gyrokinesis series offers a structured introduction to the Gyrokinesis Method through a consistent weekly class. The work supports spinal mobility, joint articulation, coordination, breath, and functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences.

Gyrokinesis is a whole-body movement method that integrates movement, breath, and attention to support nervous system regulation and efficient movement patterns. Classes are designed to be accessible while allowing for depth and progression over time.

The method is practiced primarily on a chair and mat, without equipment. Working without mechanical feedback encourages participants to develop greater body awareness, proprioception, and internal organization as they explore the movement sequences.

Classes are taught in a small-group setting to allow for clear instruction, pacing, and individual attention.

Following the Full Arc

This January series can be taken on its own, or as the first step in a longer winter progression.
Students interested in deeper continuity may choose to follow the full arc of the work through a longer series.
